Hey Jesse just got done with a forging session tried to part together how to do integral bolsters from your videos on YouTube. I had some 2” round 52100 that a forged down into 1”x1” by like 4” rectangle. I then used a guillotine to isolate the blade material from the bolster while not forging out the tank just yet. All this went good. But when I try to draw down the heel in my press, the fullering dies, just made it mushroom over the top of the bolster and where I want my heel to be, and then I had to try to fix it, but then I could never draw the heel down pretty much at all with success. The bolster ended up always being either right in the middle or in the upper fourth of the billet, how do you do your integrals so successful successfully?
